Disconnecting from Your Body: Moving from Trauma and Pain to Softness and Flow

Updated: Jun 11

Hello beautiful, and welcome back to another juicy episode of the Mom’s Talk Sex Podcast. I am so excited for this amazing conversation because if you are tuning in, you are about to learn how to feel better in your body, quieter in your mind, and definitely turned on in the bedroom.

Today, I am joined by the beautiful Fiona Rose—a dog mom, healer, coach, psychic medium, and the creator of Body Bliss. Fiona has spent over 15 years helping women get out of pain to discover the natural joy and freedom of being alive. Together, we are diving deep into why so many women find themselves disconnecting from their body, how that affects our sexuality, and how our upcoming 8-week program, Body Flow, can help you return to your natural state of bliss.

The Root of Disconnecting from Your Body: Pain, Entities, and Trauma

Many women deal with a massive disconnect from their physical forms, which manifests as anxiety, depression, a low libido, or chronic pain. When Fiona started her own healing journey, she realized her patterns of choosing controlling relationships had left her feeling anxious and deeply disconnected.

But there is another layer to why you might be disconnecting from your body: your intuition and awareness.

Fiona shares that a major turning point in her work was opening up to her gifts as a psychic medium. A lot of women are highly aware of spirits, entities, and outside energies all the time. When we get scared of our intuition, we shut it down, and the physical body gets shut down too. We see a direct correlation where weird body pains suddenly disappear the moment we clear an entity or have a conversation with it.

We also choose disconnecting from your body because we simply don't want to feel. To avoid feeling pain, shame, guilt, or heavy emotions, we check out. But the minute we disconnect from the unwanted emotions, we also give away our power.

Healing 30 Years of Chronic Pain and Reclaiming the Bedroom

Fiona's personal breakthrough came from healing 30 years of chronic pain. After a severe childhood injury that went untreated, she lived with back pain from the age of nine until she finally used energy tools, entity clearings, and emotional work to clear the trauma held in her tissue.

When you live in constant chronic pain, it is incredibly hard to have a true body connection or enjoy sex. The body naturally shuts down and rejects intimacy. Fiona explains the reality that many women face:

"I think most women feel this way who have had sexual trauma is that there's sort of a numbness that happens when you're holding on to trauma... I feel like I was stuck in that cycle, the pain and the sex was just like, sex is just another chore that I have to make sure I get done. And now it's more of an awareness and it's a softness."

From body judgment starting at a very young age to internalized societal programming, women are conditioned to hate their thighs, their wrinkles, or their gray hair. This constant judgment is one of the strongest ways we begin disconnecting from your body.

Moving from Hardness to Softness with Body Flow

To survive a traumatic childhood or succeed in a male-dominated reality, women learn to become incredibly hard. But when we meet the world with hardness, we cannot receive. If you are meeting your partner in the bedroom with hardness, the energy clashes. When you allow yourself to open up to softness, that combination creates an orgasmic energy that shifts your relationships, your health, and even your money alignment.

To help you end the cycle of disconnecting from your body, we have developed a brand-new 8-week container called Body Flow.

This program is a complete transmission created from our combined 20 years of experience working with thousands of women worldwide. Starting July 13th, this group journey will guide you through an energetic and physical alignment of your chakras:

  • Mondays at 12:00 PM: Mor will lead energetic and emotional clearings for each chakra center.

All sessions are recorded, so you can watch them at your own pace if you cannot make it live.

This program is for the women who are completely done with depression, anxiety, chronic tension, and disconnecting from your body, and are finally ready to step into their truth.

Your body does not want you to suffer; it innately wants to feel bliss and joy. Are you ready to let the truth come forward?
